About the Job
Character Type: Video Game Influencer / Sarcastic Slacker Character Description: Harry is SHARK Artz Ztudio's resident bass guitar student/influencer... at least on paper. Too cool for school and too cool for just about everything else, Harry spends his time talking about the latest video games, livestreams, and gaming gear while his bass guitar hangs around his neck like a fashion accessory. Ironically, you never actually see him play the bass. The only time he ever touches the strings is to lazily pluck a single low bass note after delivering one of his sarcastic one-liners, convinced he's the funniest person in the room. His constant eye rolls, dry wit, and complete lack of enthusiasm make him hilariously entertaining. Backstory: Harry built a respectable online following through gaming videos, livestreams, and sarcastic commentary, making him another valuable marketing asset for SHARK. While his online popularity helped attract students to the school, his musical growth has been almost nonexistent. He joined SHARK because it was the "cool" place to be, not because he wanted to become a better bassist. As he watches Cedar's students genuinely invest in one another and their music, he slowly begins to realize there's a difference between being popular and becoming great. Performance Notes: Looking for an actor with excellent deadpan comedic timing, dry wit, and natural charisma. Must be able to play a sarcastic, too-cool-for-everything teenager whose humor comes from subtle reactions, perfectly timed one-liners, and his signature single bass note that punctuates nearly every joke.
